The biggest challenge in Design?

20Years Communications Book Kevin Popovic

To paraphrase our answers, the biggest challenge in design is the lack of it. OK, there’s a lot more to it than that. Face it, not everyone is visual, as they say. So the patience displayed by our respondents is probably as noteworthy as their own talents and their collective ability to solve the problems of the design world.

Its ALL about communication. Without communication nobody in the world would not know what to do. This is where many errors occur and listening is truly an art. If you can master this, a great design can come up a lot more easier.

A simple, concise, and clear design is more effective than a fancier, more cluttered design.

For me, the design needs to complement the story on the page and aid the reader’s ability to comprehend the words in print. Don’t get fancy if you don’t know the basics. Simple layouts look fine, and they direct the reader’s eyes to your words. That’s my agenda.
