The biggest advancement in Communications?

20Years Communications Book Kevin Popovic

It was hard finding anyone to say anything other than the Internet, but we did get one or two which on their own are worth clicking “play” to see. Again, we think we’ve found substantial support for the overall notion that the more things change, the more they stay the same. See if you don’t agree.

I agree with the viewpoint of Rob Deaner from Market Street Sound. Regardless of the avenue (television, internet, phone), the consumer is looking for that instant gratification and the immediacy by which we reach them is crucial. The window of opportunity to reach that target individual is decreasing steadily forcing advertisers to react more efficiently and in real time.

At 22 years old, the Internet, to me, is not the biggest development. By the time I was 12,13 years old, the Internet was pretty developed, and mobile technology was beginning to take over. Now I know people who use their phones as their primary computers, so I’d say mobile technology was the biggest development thus far in my life time.
