By definition, multimedia is “the joining of two or more mediums”, such as audio, video, music, text, photographs, art, voice-overs, and sound effects. Marketing Directors and Sales Managers tell us they use multimedia when they want to educate their prospects on products and services. Studies show audio increases retention by 20%, audio and video to 30% and interaction with the material presented by up to 60%. Their greatest challenge is finding a resource that understands the range of mediums involved and can combine them for their specific communications requirements.

Ideahaus® has particular expertise in helping companies deliver product and service information through multimedia.

Our Affiliates and Associates have experience with multimedia, hypermedia, and interactive media. We’ve developed within Macintosh and Windows-based environments and are knowledgeable of cross-platform issues. Our projects have been created as removable media (CD-ROM and floppy) and hard-disk based projects. Projects have also been delivered within low and high bandwidth channels.

Our familiarity with input devices such as keyboards, mice, trackballs and touch screens, and output devices like monitors, audio speakers, projectors and printers help us apply interactivity. In-house production of media includes copywriting, audio, video, design, photography, digital imaging, illustration, animation, and music composition. Although most current work is developed with authoring tools including HTML, DHTML, Flash, Director, Authorware, Lightwave, QuickTime, and QuickTime VR, we have a solid background of traditional multimedia, including slide presentations, video projection and multiple screen
