The Ideahaus Mantra

“It is our purpose to create; to exploit information and technology for the purpose of developing the most innovative methods of communication.”
Our mantra begins, “It is our purpose to create.”
Ideahaus was created as a place to study and develop creative communications for business applications. Our primary focus is to communicate creatively, ergo the tagline, “Creative. Intelligence.” For most of us what we do here is a derivation of the very thing we would run home from school to do when we were kids.;-) Today, we’re fortunate to make a living doing it. For this we are thankful.
The “exploitation” we reference is in the lesser seen, positive light i.e. “Waste not, want not.” Both information and technology are an investment and we expect that our clients want the greatest return possible.
The “information” itself is expansive. It is the information we possess from our experience and education, that of our clients, and from what we learn anew, together.
The “technology” is not only the tools of our trade, computers and peripherals manipulating and exchanging digital assets, but that of communications. Printing presses, mailing services, radio and television, video, CD-ROMs, the internet. There is so much they offer on the surface, and so much more they offer when you examine them, manipulate them and combine with a creative eye.
“The most innovative methods of communication” is a bold statement, and is not intended to be compared to others claims of “the best.” Instead we refer to the sum of the variables that go into real-world creative communications. The Team +/- The Client +/- The Project (Account) +/-The Budget +/- The Time Frame +/- The Industry +/- The Competition +/- The Audience - The Restrictions +/- The Delivery Channel = The Work.
