In the nearly twenty years we’ve been in the business we have gone back and forth about participating in awards shows (you’ll be able to see what years we were against them ;-)
Awards, when given in recognition for the work and the effort put forth, and for the achievement in an endeavor, can be a professional badge of honor. When given without consideration, understanding or appreciation they are false idols too often worshiped by the young and impressionable.
