Kevin Popovic (kp) will be presenting two days at the conference, including, “Staying Relevant: Using Social Media in the Age of Consumer-Driven Healthcare”
Web 2.0 has become the word of choice for pharmaceutical marketers over the last 5-10 years in regard to all new media that have allowed for enhanced interactions with the patient-consumer. However, more and more the phrase “Web 3.0” has begun to emerge with the question of “What is next?” and “What new media outlet should we prepare for?” User control of healthcare will continue to dominate in the future but planning for the media and online outlets consumers will be engaged in is essential for success in a Web 3.0 world. In this session, here directly from an emerging technology expert on how widgets, second life and all other components of the Web 3.0 revolution will impact health education, brand marketing, disease awareness and overall consumer engagement.
The session is 45-minutes long, which would include about 5-10 minutes for discussion and Q&A. Currently, it is scheduled to take place on Day 1 of the conference, June 25, 2009 at 9:30am.
